On Our Farm
Tucked away on 18 rolling acres in Kingston, OK, Merry Meadows Farm is where our family, our animals, and our community come together. We raise more than 30 pasture-grazed goats, tend to flocks of free-range chickens and ducks, care for busy honey-bee hives, and—new this year—welcome a pair of friendly miniature donkeys. Every sunrise finds us out in the barn milking, gathering eggs, and checking on the garden; every sunset finishes with evening chores and a quiet moment watching the herd settle in. It’s honest farm life, and we love sharing it with our neighbors around Kingston, Madill, Durant, Ardmore, Tishomingo, and across the Lake Texoma region.
Why Local Families Love Merry Meadows Farm

Our Animals

Goats
Our goat herd started with three Boer goats from a family friend late 2020. It didn’t take long for us to fall in love with goats and grow our herd to over 20 goats! We have a mixed herd now of Boer, Nubian, Nigerian Dwarf and Sannen goats. Our goats provide us fresh goat’s milk (that you can purchase in our Farm Store!) They also help keep our property manicured and free of unwanted plants like poison ivy and briars. They are also just loads of fun and entertainment! There’s never a dull moment as a goat farmer!

Our Garden

Plants & Produce
Each year that we grow food for us and our surrounding community we learn what grows best, what people want most, and what plants just don’t work in our climate/environment. Therefor we have an ever-changing garden and availability of crops. Some of the staples we have every year are okra, yellow squash, zucchini, several tomato varieties and salad mixes.
If you live in our community and there’s a type of produce you want but can’t find, let us know by sending us a message here. We’ll do our best to try and get some plants planted for you and get your food growing!
Our Farm Products
We have a large variety of farm products that we produce. Of course, we have our produce in our gardens, but we also have raw unfiltered honey, free range fresh eggs, and more! Each part of our farm works together providing our family, animals, plants and community with the nutrients they need.
