What to Expect on Your Visit
When you step onto the land at Merry Meadows Farm, you’re not just visiting a farm — you’re stepping into the rhythm of a real, working homestead in the heart of southern Oklahoma. Located just outside Kingston, and a short drive from Madill and Durant, our farm offers an authentic, hands-on experience for visitors of all ages.
Tours at Merry Meadows Farm are available during our open hours — no appointment needed. You’re welcome to drop in anytime we’re open and enjoy a guided walkthrough of our working farm. Most tours last between 45 minutes to an hour, giving you plenty of time to meet the animals, explore the pasture, and learn about how we do things the old-fashioned way: with intention, care, and a bit of dirt under our nails.
We’re just minutes from downtown Kingston and under 30 minutes from Durant and Madill, making our farm a perfect stop for families, homeschoolers, photographers, and travelers exploring southern Oklahoma and the Lake Texoma region.
If our front gate is closed when you arrive, don’t worry — we’re still here. Just call the number posted on the gate and we’ll gladly let you in. We keep the gate closed at times for animal safety, not to turn anyone away.
Come as you are, but we do recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and bringing a bottle of water, especially during warm weather. Whether you’re here to meet the goats, pick up some handmade soap, or just reconnect with rural life, we promise an experience that’s real, welcoming, and unforgettable.
We invite you to slow down, breathe in the fresh country air, and reconnect with the land and animals. You’ll learn how we milk our goats, why we choose to pasture-raise our animals. And how each product in our farm store, from lotion bars to coffee, connects to the work you see happening around you.

A Family-Owned Homestead You Can Feel Good Supporting
We’re a small, family-run farm with big values: sustainability, transparency, and care for the animals and land we steward. Our daily chores include hand-milking goats twice a day, gathering fresh eggs, and tending to gardens and seasonal projects. And we don’t hide any of it. We welcome questions, conversation, and curiosity.
If you’re visiting Lake Texoma or exploring nearby areas like Kingston or Durant, taking a tour of Merry Meadows is a memorable way to spend your morning or afternoon. It’s also a great way to teach kids (and adults!) where their food, soap, and honey really come from.
Need to cool off on a hot day or stay warm in the winter? Stop by our farm store to relax, unwind and check out some of our handmade good from us and other local vendors!
