The Story Behind the Bar

Honey Rose came together naturally. We had the goats, we had the bees, and it made sense to put both into one bar. The milk keeps the lather creamy and rich. The honey adds a touch of warmth to the scent and a softness to the wash. Every batch is small and made by hand, the same way it’s always been.

Lightly Floral, Naturally Sweet
The rose is delicate and the honey is warm, and neither one takes over. It’s the kind of scent you notice when the bar is in your hand and then settles into something quiet after you rinse. Not perfume, just a good soap that happens to smell like something from the garden.
How We Make It
To protect the richness of the goat’s milk, we freeze it into cubes before mixing. This keeps the milk cool during saponification and preserves the natural fats and vitamins that make goat’s milk soap different from a standard bar. Every batch is then poured, cut, and cured by hand at Merry Meadows Farm before it ships.
